Visited Mohican State Forest during our little stretch of unseasonably warm weather. Big Lyons Falls was flowing quite fast, particularly for this time of year.

Snowy Solitude
Visited Mohican State Park for a hike during a pretty good snow storm this past Saturday. We had the whole place to ourselves. The peaceful solitude was incredible — watching the snowflakes fall over the Mohican River.

A small family of immature bald eagles recently thrilled me with a fly-over while visiting Mohican State Forest during a snowfall. Wonderful and fortuitous!
