  3. We’ll be in Ohio in the late October – driving down from Michigan to Wilmington, OH and staying a few days in Yellow Springs. Any birding places to highly recommend?

Hi! Not as familiar with the area over in western Ohio. John Bryan State Park and Clifton Gorge are nice places to hike and usually see some familiar birds along the trail. I’ve been lucky with some Great Blue Herons and Pileated Woodpeckers there. There are some really nice birding spots around central Ohio, Columbus if planning a jaunt that direction.
