Laying Eggs?

Caught this grasshopper climbing on a stalk of grass. Appears to be laying eggs?

Red-Tailed Portrait

This gorgeous red-tailed hawk was kind enough to pose for me, showing off his beautiful markings and vibrant lively eyes. 

  

Immature Bald Eagle

I was driving down a two lane country highway when I spotted this gorgeous bald eagle perched in a tree just off the road. Luckily my camera was handy and no car behind me. He has yet to begin to get the characteristic white feathers that give him the “bald” name, but he looked to be fully grown. Magnificent creature!
