Invsive Pest… Colorful Alien

Japanese Beetle sitting atop a grassy stalk. These beetles are very prevalent on foliage this time of year here in the eastern states. They look cool, but are quite invasive and destructive to flowers and all manner of crops.

when I look at my plants if I see them on them they are crushed to death right then and there, I read it is good to keep the dead ones on the plant as it acts like a repellant to other beetles, maybe the beetles sense death and figure they will be next better go some where else, lol
