Summer’s Last Stand ~ Army of Sunflowers

Every year about this time I make a pilgrimage to Yellow Springs, Ohio where a wonderful field of sunflowers blooms very late in the summer to coincide with their street festival. The air was autumnal and cool today, but the sunflowers still stood testament that summer is not quite through.
